What Does An Orthopedic Hand Specialist Do?
He evaluates and provides treatment for all injuries and conditions which affect the Hand and Arm including:
Treatment includes both operative and non-operative management, from simple problems the complex reconstruction multiple medical disciplines are at times involved in the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity conditions. Care also frequently involves Hand Therapy and the use of various splints and assistive devices.

- Trauma
- Fractures
- Sprains
- Overuse conditions
- Tendinitis
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Ulnar Nerve Compression
- and many other conditions that involve the the Hand, Wrist, Forearm, Elbow and Upper Arm.
